We can't help the ability of natural attraction.....

Man I had a really good dream last night......until I realized when I  woke up that it was about someone I had a crush on for YEARS.  I mean literally YEARS.  I hate those dreams.  Why? Well for one I'm married.  It's really really really awkward when I have a dream about a guy I used to like and I wake up and am still thinking about the feelings I had for that person.  I mean at the end of my dream I realized it and was trying to make myself remember that I had a husband.  Because I love my husband and would rather not embark on memory lane with that particular subject.
The dream didn't get into anything scandalous (THANK GOODNESS) but it was still one of those dreams that you go WAAAAAAY back to and remember just how you felt about that person for so long.
I believe that since I never told this individual that I liked them, that-that's maybe why I still feel something towards them BUT not enough to make me do anything stupid.  It's my kid crush.
I think also because I never told them that I have some weird underlining attraction.
(EVERYONE has one.  I'm not scared to admit it because I've talked to other wives about it. SO don't be ashamed as along as you don't act out on it.)

Now I'm not going to lie, I am a HUGE sucker for motorcycles still.  The guy I had a crush on for so long owned or might still I don't know, a dirt bike.  That was in my dream of course.
I don't know why but I think it's safe to admit that every girl out there has one person that they will always be attracted to for some unknown reason.  This is one of those types of people.
Now this goes for the guys too.
I actually talked to my husband about this subject a long time ago.  And we both\ admitted that there have been attracted to people still even after we got married but of course we don't pursue anything with that.

People it's only natural!  We honestly can't help it.  It's one of the hardest things for me to understand while being married because you think before you get married that you will NEVER have thoughts about another person again and that you'll dream only of your husband or wife.  WRONG!!!
You STILL will be again attracted to other people. And then have dreams about them.
My advice? Just talk to your spouse about it.  Be open. My reaoning is because you then get close to your spouse because they are communicating how they have had a similar experience and you remember why you fell in love with them to begin with.
Now it IS hard to admit that to your companion. "Hey honey, I had a dream last night about another guy."....................Awkward.
But that's what I LOVE about my husband.  He is very supportive and understands that there are some things in life that you can't control.

On another note in my life:
Raine is sick again.  I mean not just from teething, but has her voice disappearing, every time she sneezes I have to run for a tissue, slight fever, achy, want to cuddle all the time sick.
I hope she recovers soon.  I dislike seeing my baby sick :(

Stressful times....

So today is good so far. I have all my regular chores started and or done along with the first round of baby duties. (Bathing, feeding and changing)
Now for her first nap (yay!)
I have a few decisions in my life that I need to make and it's the first time ive had NO clue what to do. My husband and I are facing a fork in the road that will both lead to a goal but the fork in the path is when to do it.
I'm not gonna lie its very scary not having the resources I need right now to help but somehow...I hope we'll get there

Phone hated me so much it drowned itself

So it's pretty self explanatory from the title.
But to explain, I dropped my phone in the toilet. So I had a funeral for it and buried it in rice. Hopefully my phone will resurrect and come alive good as new. I highly doubt that though. I picked it up pretty quick so I know it still works.... For now anyway.
On another note in my life Raine is teething. She is five months d and will be six months come march 14th. She is growing up so quickly it boggles mind.
Since she is teething, I find it stressful to get things done because she is whining so much. It's so sad but I know that shell be okay.
To give ya an idea on how it affects me, I was changing the height on her crib so that it cod be lowered due to her name lifting herself up and attempting sitting up.
So with my hand on the last spot that needs to be fixed, I was having difficulty moving it. So I used my foot to hold the crib in place and my hand to try and lift the spacer. While I do this Raine begins to cry the one cry that gets to me. You moms will know it. But for those that don't, it sounds like their in pain. So I look over and check on her. Little did I know that the crib piece decided to slide out and pull the opposite direction.my hand was still holding it so it grabbed my power skin by my pinkie. Now I have a blood blister.
But it's fine considering it cod have just ripped it off.
Oh the joys of mothering.

Catching up-What' i"ve learned about baby and moving!

Well folks it's been a looooooong time since I've been on here.

So let's get started.

I had my beautiful daughter Sept, 14th at 6:14 am at the UVRMC.  I had to have assistance in bringing her into this world and she ended up in the NICE for 18 hours afterwards but she recovered very quickly and was able to go home with us.
I had some negative exeriences at the hospital, but the nurses there made it bearable and I"m glad they were there to help.

To sum up the experience, I will NEVER EVER do a delivery at ANY hospital.  I don't like the fact that I wanted to do it natural and had a wonderful rhythm going, only to be rushed by the doctor because he didn't feel like "waiting" for me to have my water break on it's own.  However, that's  how we found out that my daughter was in meconium and that lead to the first string of crap pumped into me.  That's another reason I don't want to be in the hospital again.  I much would rather not having medication in my system.  I know that if I wouldn't have felt rushed, I would have done fine.

Anyway, enough negativity.  Moving on.

Right now, my daughter is almost 3 months old.  (Holy crap!)  I can't believe I was Pregnant not that long ago and now have my baby.

A few things I"ve learned SO FAR ha ha.  Those with a baby will understand what I mean by that little joke.

-  Sleep seriously is over rated with a newborn.

- Your husband will be a great pillow when the baby decides to feed every hour.  (I was also a pillow for my husband as we became support for each other)

- Those DINKY, thin and cute burp clothes you get are NOT useful.
GET A TOWEL.  oh and also THICK dish towels.  Babies don't just spit up lightly.  They THROW UP projectile vomit.  I found that when nursing/feeding my baby.  IF I don't have a towel underneath me, it becomes a huge problem.  Not only that but I can't mention how many times I've saved my shirt I'm wearing by having a dish towel on my shoulder instead of a dinky cloth.

- Babies can feel ALL of your stress.  They can and will get the point of not eating if you have so much of it.  TRUST me.  I sadly know the truth to that now :(

- My daughter is a D-r-a-m-a Queen.  She's still adorable though but she definitley is testing my patience sometimes.  I still love her though.

-You know you hear those funny stories about how mom's can go scary ballistic if something happens to there kids?  Oh yea.  I discovered that when I was in walmart with my  mom and younger sister.
To explain shortly, I always iimagined that I would go crazy but i could never actually see it happening because I lack taking action because I hate fighting  however, when my younger sister was holding my baby in her car seat and I didn't hear that she was going to the front of the line we were standing in, to wait in front of (you know when your at the register and when you have someone with you they stand just a little ahead of were the grocery bags are?),  Weeeeeeelll, I can tell ya that I FREAKED out.  I don't think i've ever been like that especially in public :P My sister saw me and she was a good distance away but of course she heard me (and half the store).  I told her to actually make sure she has eye contact with me first next time and also to never be that far away from me.

-GET THICK SKIN.  What that means here is that when you have people trying to tell you what to do with the baby or simply TAKE your baby without asking (caught me off guard) you get that baby back and you tell THEM to back off.  I didn't do this right away and I will not let that happen again.  Also, your mom may be very helpful but if she is doing something you don't like, have her understand it's your kid and not hers.  Hopefully she'll listen.

- 4 hour naps with baby are your best friend.  They disappear completely when they in turn become closer to three months I've just discovered.  They will only sleep for 20 stinkin minutes at a time.  Use that time to get stuff done if you can or better yet NAP!

- You get sleep back at night when they sleep for almost 9 hours at a time!  Now I'm not complaining about that AT ALL.  I love getting my sleep again at night :)

-Clipping someone else's nails, especially baby, is VERY hard.  I had one time I did it and I got the tip of her finger REALLY badly.  Her finger is just about better and it's been almost 2 months.  :( So warning, be careful and do it when they are sleeping.

- Vomit, fecal matter, spit up etc.  Suddenly isn't gross anymore. You get used to it.  I know I did.  Doesn't mean I like it though :P

- Having more than one station to change your baby at is awesome.  Just a simple disposable pad or towel or blanket on the floor in another room saves A LOT of time.  Same for feeding station.

-Double of everything makes the world go round.

- Having a popcorn tin in your car for changing time as a trash can when traveling, makes it A LOT easier to save on grocery bags and keep the car from smelling.

That's all I can think of for now, If ya have questions on my experience so far, go ahead and ask.  I got LOADS of info.  Does NOT mean I'm a know it all.  I just share what I learn with those that WANT to know what I"VE been through.

Next step.

We are moving in 2 weeks cross country to Georgia.  YAAAAAAAY!  I've been waiting almost three years for this.  And I"m so excited it's happening finally. I get to get away from boring Utah since it holds nothing for me here anymore.  (That and a few other things....)  I also get to know my in laws better since I will be spending lots of time with them.
Faith and Patience have been the two biggest things that have been testing me very strongly through out the last year.  It's been so challenging not to have sometimes the approval or support I need to do things, but in the end my husband and daughter are all that matter to me in the end.  I love them and I wouldn't ever give them up for anything.
I plan on going fishing and shooting some when I get to Georgia soon.  That and I already have a craft project I can do with my Mother in law too when we get there :)

Labor day :D

Well today I've felt pretty productive :3

I had a good source of energy today.  I wouldn't say a huge burst per se but I haven't felt tired all day and I've loved it! <3

I had a sister come by today and helped us with a food order so that way, before Raine decides to come, we have food to eat lol.
I also had a visit today from my land lady.  She was worried about me and felt bad that she hadn't dropped by sooner after we had moved in last month.  So I had a pleasant chat with her and how my pregnancy was going.

Caleb returned from the gym after working out with a friend of ours and we decided that we wanted to have fish for dinner tonight.  So we grabbed the poll we're borrowing, bought worms from the gas station, got snacks at the dollar store, and then headed out to Spanish Oaks Reservoir .
It was really frustrating at first because these stupid people (adults and a few teenagers) kept swimming through the area that Caleb had his line in.  So needless to say for the first hour or so, we didn't catch anything because of that.  Finally around six-ish, he got his first one and was almost going to send it back.  I told him not to because we didn't know if we were going to catch anything else.  We had forgotten the cooler so I waddled my way over to the other side of the reservoir and got the cooler from the car.
After being there for 3 hours we ended up with two fish.  That's the limit that we could catch anyway, so we were content with that and left.

Moving on,

I am now 38 weeks today!  Sadly, I haven't even had Braxton-Hicks contractions, So I'm a little frustrated with the fact that nothing is happening.  I'm going to try and get some licorice herbal tea from the store because I hear it can induce labor. I've also been trying walking a bunch as well.  Grrrr.  Hopefully she'll come soon.  I'm getting tired of being pregnant and having difficulty getting out of the car etc.

Ready to pop

Soooo I got some maternity picks back pretty quick which I have to thank a very dear friend of mine for doing so.  She's just getting her portfolio set up so I'm glad that she could help me out by getting some pictures done for me.  I'm ready to pop any day now so I hope that I can get the newborn pics done soon too.

This was at the Payson memorial park.  They were actually setting up a carnival and I wished they were done because I would have love to get pictures there.  But I still love what I got :3
I wanted a meditation picture really badly and I'm glad I got one now.  This is one of many favorites of mine.
Here is my daughters name.  I came up with the idea right before we left the canyon :)
This was my friends idea right before we left the park.  I was pretty famished and I told her I was pretty tired.  So if I looked drugged that's why.  I think i look 16 in these pictures but that's just me haha

So thus far the doctor said that since it's my first that she could most likely come after 40 weeks.  Which is normal but I'm really hoping that I get her sooner.  I don't sleep much anymore and my heartburn is so bad that it keeps me up at night.  yes I know that I will be dealing with an infant soon but that's okay.  Plus I want to be eating again at whatever hour instead of holding myself off 5 hours before I fall asleep. Ha Ha

That's all I got for now.  There are more pictures to come of course but this is what I have for now :)

Almost there...

Well this week has been quite eventful.  I was able to see my doula this week and go over what I wanted to do for when I'm in labor AND I we had to the joy of ANOTHER flat tire.  No thanks to the freeway.

I'm 36 weeks in this photo :3 I'm very excited to say that I didn't think i would get to this point because again, it seemed like it was taking FOREVER to get here.
I don't really have to many stretch marks but its not to late to get any :P
My goal for next week is I'm going to be walking a lot more, have licorice herbal tea, and do anything else I can (naturally) to help induce this babe to get here!

The other part of this week, We replace the right side tire that popped by the provo exit.  We had just barely vacuumed out the car after the mess from last week and put the spare back in the compartment in the trunk.
However, my left side tire decided that it was time to go, and it gave way on our date friday night.   It's a very similar story to what happened with our right tire.  We didn't know that it had popped because of how subtle the puncture was.  Until we heard the noise and then we smelled burning rubber.

The hubcap on this side doesn't nearly look as bad as the one on the right side did :P

Trying to find the right spot for the jack. Thank goodness our car had one!

Caleb was using my lap as a pillow so that way his head wouldn't be touching the cement :P

As you can see, the tire was pretty bald, but I had driven it around town earlier that day, and I didn't have ANY problems with it.  Until I took it out on the freeway.
Needless to say I tried to help.  I lifted the other tire into the back of the trunk.  It was pretty difficult.  But someone must have seen me do that because a guy pulled over and offered to help us :3

We both looked pretty silly as we walked into olive garden.  People were staring at us like we had wrestled in the dirt or something before we got there.  But I'm glad that I have a funny story to tell my daughter one day when she get's older.
At the time it wasn't funny but looking back, it's just some more happy memories with my hubby.
